Our Note
We have flown into St Thomas more times than anywhere else in the Caribbean, and we know it the way you only can by staying. It is also where we got engaged, at Magens Bay, so this island holds a place in our story that nowhere else does. The hills, the east end beaches and the food are genuinely lovely once you know the hours. We rent a car and go where the day boats do not, then find a table above the harbor at sunset.
